Been going to Famous Amos for years ! Today mom and I went for breakfast it was great! We had grits eggs and sausage patties everything was cooked to perfection. Service was great! It was a pleasurable meal with mom! Great service from this gentleman picture went above and beyond to make my feel comfortable
We eat here on a regular basis. Tammy is the server to ask for. No one better. Food is consistently excellent. Never had a bad meal here and Tammy's service is the best!
Famous Amos was a restaurant my family ate at frequently when I was a kid. Im 35 now and today my mom and I ate breakfast while in the area looking at apartments for me. The food is just as good now as it was then, albeit the prices have adjusted over the years. If you want a classic, Southern breakfast then come here. The service is always good and the plate is always full. For 16 bucks, I had smoked sausage, grits, two eggs and toast. My mom had bacon, eggs, grits and biscuits. Hearty and filling. I did not leave hungry!
05.21.2019 well we had a very early start. Maddy had her drivers license up dated successfully we had little wait pleasent enough. The we headed out to breakfast. Tell ya what I HATE noise when it is not needed. Well we went to Famous Amos. I know it's not Ruth Crist but the prices were right and the food was really good. We were seated as soon as we walked in the door. Water and coffee brought right to the table. The waitress as really nice, the Resturant was very clean and the food was above and beyond good. I notice some not so good reviews, those folks have got to be exceptional foodies that may be should take another look in the mirror or just go else where to find some thing to complain about ? I took pictures of the meal and it was really good. I don't know what some folks expect but the bad reviews are just show off stuff. When we went in only one booth was filled when we left the place was almost full up. All with adults and or seniors. No cranky crying screaming children. No kids running up and down the aisles. Music in the back ground low and pleasent and easy to converse with the person that came with you. What more can any one ask. Oh yea a delicious meal. Check out the pictures.
